Sort lines

Sort a list A–Z or Z–A, in natural order with numbers by value, by length or at random, or reverse it. Accents are ordered the way your language expects.

Runs locally — nothing is uploaded
Result
Paste a list, one item per line.

How to use

  1. 1Paste a list or load a file.
  2. 2Pick the order; the result updates instantly.
  3. 3Copy or download the sorted lines.

Numbers inside lines are compared by value, so “item 9” comes before “item 10”.

A → Z and Z → A use strict character-code order: uppercase before lowercase, accented letters after z.

It uses a Fisher–Yates shuffle driven by the browser’s cryptographic random generator.

They are removed before sorting. Reverse keeps every line, empty ones included.
